Orange County has advised the HOA that the trees in our Neiborhood need to be trimmed before they will repave the roads. As per our guidelines, each owner is responsible for trimming their own trees including the one on the roads. The County has advised us that they will be coming by April 7th to determine what trees are below the minimum of 12 feet above the road. The county will then get a quote from the County Contractor to trim whatever trees don’t meet the standards. Any trees that are below this will be trimmed by the County Contractor to 14 feet above the road. It is not clear whether they will absorb the cost or if they intend on charging the HOA or homeowner. Please trim your trees on the roads ASAP. The HOA has already trimmed all the HOA trees on the roadway.
Once the trees are trimmed, they will schedule the road repave.
We are sorry for the short notice but we were only advised today about the trees and the road repaving.
