A recent complaint from a resident was received by the management company regarding an alligator, approximately 5 feet in length and was spotted in one of the community ponds near Chagford and Cragside. The administration would like all residents to be aware and careful when walking especially around the ponds and lake. In case of immediate danger please stay at safe distance and contact local police (911) immediately. Management has reported the issue to the State of Florida Alligator Hot Line and a trapper will be dispatched within 24 hours to the community to attempt capture the alligator. These animals are protected by the State of Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission. It is prohibited to harm and/or feed these animals…not to mentioned very dangerous.
